Product Description

The wire rope is composed of a strand of wire rope in the middle. It is represented by the letters IWS or IWR. The steel core wire rope of the same diameter has a greater breaking force than a hemp core wire rope and bears a greater load.

Steel core wire rope is more wear-resistant, resistant to extrusion, and has a higher service life than fiber core wire rope. The breaking force is relatively high and the softness is relatively low. The steel core wire rope is higher than the hemp core wire rope in terms of high temperature resistance. Steel core wire ropes are generally selected for wear-resistant and high-temperature situations.

The price of steel core wire rope is relatively higher than that of fiber core wire rope, but considering the service life and wire rope tension will be relatively better, so in general, the cost of steel core stainless steel wire rope is relatively low.
